Job summary

Cinch Connectivity Solutions in Minnesota is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to perform complex Swiss machine setups, modify programs, and operate multiple machines. You will train other machinists and provide leadership to junior staff while delivering high-quality parts on time to meet customer requirements.

Requires an AAS or Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and 5+ years in Swiss machining; US citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• AAS degree or Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Swiss Machining environment.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex setups from programs on multiple machine types to ensure parts conform to print and process specifications.
• Provide leadership to inexperienced machinists and mentor NIMS Apprentice Students.
• Troubleshoot issues with setups and tooling, change setup sheets, and modify the machining process to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Determine program edits, adjust speeds and feeds, and ensure parts are machined properly and efficiently.
• Sharpen, grind, and modify tooling and inspect finished parts with precision instruments; maintain adherence to schedules and quality standards.
