Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in CNC machining.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic math skills including decimals; inches to metric conversion helpful.
• Knowledge of metals and their machinability; experience with measurement tools.
• Demonstrated initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Reliability, dependability and ability to learn; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate several CNC machines, load material, monitor operation and take measurements to produce quality parts as part of a team.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures and perform quality audits.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Maintain product specs by observing machining operations, troubleshooting, adjusting/reprogramming controls and replacing tools as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and housekeeping to ensure safe operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions per manufacturer instructions.
