Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of machining experience.
• Experience programming CNC equipment using CAM software.
• Proficiency with CamWorks and SolidWorks preferred; Mastercam or GibbsCAM acceptable.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• G-code programming and machine-side editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using CamWorks, SolidWorks, and CAM software.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Edit G-code at the machine to optimize programs and correct machining issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, CAD drawings, and engineering sketches.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues to ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic equipment repairs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
