Job summary

Intellectt INC in Plano, TX is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Precision Machinist to program, set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC and manual equipment to produce precision components. Strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation, plus precision inspection, are essential.

You will select tools, speeds and feeds, perform in-process and final inspections, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and maintain a safe, organized shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming and manual machining
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T accurately
• Proficiency in precision inspection and use of inspection equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Perform CNC and manual machining operations while maintaining tolerances and specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Select cutting tools, workholding methods, speeds, feeds, and processes.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measurement equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and process-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, production teams and outside vendors as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized manufacturing work area.
• Independently execute machining assignments while meeting production and quality requirements.
