Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Vericut or equivalent software is required.
• Extensive experience with 5-Axis Machining is necessary.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and application is desired.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, adjust and optimize CNC programs using Vericut (or equivalent) to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and optimize 5-Axis Machining processes to enhance precision and quality of products.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in programming and production.
• Perform regular equipment inspections to identify and fix potential issues before they escape.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements, develop machining strategies, and implement improvements.
• Adhere to and enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain documentation for all machine adjustments and updates for reference purposes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes in equipment, procedures or methods to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system.
