Job summary

IDEX is seeking a skilled CNC machinist in Colorado to operate both CNC and conventional equipment, write and modify programs, and design fixtures for high-mix/low-volume production. You will work with CAM software and document processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• NIMS Level II certification required.
• AAS degree or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EHS regulations and policies.
• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, wire EDM).
• Write and edit CNC programs using CAM software.
• Design fixtures to enable efficient machining.
• Document activities in CMMS and via written/verbal communication.
• Write setup and inspection procedures.
• Plan and kit machining jobs.
• Maintain Kanban on shop floor.
• Collaborate with BAND-IT IDEX team to execute business plan.
• Support continuous improvement and new product development efforts.
• Mentor and train other CNC machinists.
• Model IDEX values in daily work.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
