Job summary

IDEX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III in Denver to set up and operate a range of machine tools, write and modify CNC programs, and ensure precise parts production. You will design fixtures, document manufacturing steps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality goals.

We value high mix/low volume shop experience, HAAS familiarity, and mastery of Mastercam or ESPRIT. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is required, with potential for overtime and career growth within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NIMS Level II certification required.
• 7+ years in a high mix/low volume shop; HAAS experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes; wire EDM; four-axis machines preferred.
• Experience with Mastercam and/or ESPRIT software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, wire EDM).
• Write and edit CNC programs for mills, lathes, and wire EDM; document changes in CAM software.
• Design fixtures to enable efficient machining of components.
• Document actions in CMMS and communicate results clearly.
• Write setup and inspection procedures; plan and kit machining jobs.
• Mentor and train other CNC machinists; participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Overtime and weekend work as required; uphold EHS policies and IDEX values.
