Job summary

IDEX Corporation in Middleboro, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for first shift operations. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision components per engineering blueprints. Strong GD&T, geometry knowledge, and micrometer-based inspection are required.

Qualifications

• Read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
• Accurately use micrometers, calipers and indicators.
• Set up CNC machines and fixtures to spec from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce components per engineering drawings.
• Configure machines and cutting tools to exact measurements.
• Perform machine set-ups, tool offsets and edits to maintain quality.
• Inspect own work-in-process and final parts to specification.
• Maintain lubrication and fluid levels and ensure safe operation.
• Report equipment or tooling malfunctions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
