Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Manufacturing and Process Technician to support operations, troubleshoot equipment, and drive process improvements on the production floor. You’ll train operators, work with engineers, and contribute to safety, quality, scrap reduction, and efficiency goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on machining, inspection, and collaboration across teams, with exposure to prototype development and additive manufacturing on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 3 years machining experience or an Associate’s degree in Machining Technology or related field

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for prototype components
• Independently determine machining approach, tooling, speeds, and setup for prototype work
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and CAD models with GD&T
• Machine metal/plastic parts to specified tolerances and surface finishes
• Support 3D printing/additive manufacturing and post-processing
• Inspect components with precision metrology and maintain safe work areas
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on manufacturability
