Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our high‑tech manufacturing team in Rhode Island. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC equipment, read complex blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances in a fast‑paced environment.

With a minimum of 5 years in tool and die, tooling, lathe and mill operation, you will contribute to precision production while upholding safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as CNC Machinist in manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and precision tooling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to create precision parts.
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (drilling, grinding, milling).
• Understand specifications from blueprints and drawings to meet required results.
• Translate instructions into machine commands for correct operation.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test machine operation to ensure smooth running.
• Monitor machine feed and speeds during machining.
