Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a CNC Operator to set up, run, and maintain CNC machines to produce precise parts per detailed drawings.

This full-time, onsite role requires interpreting CAD files, troubleshooting, inspecting parts, routine machine maintenance, and safe handling of materials. Willingness to travel to customer sites for in-field machining is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate CNC machines and read technical drawings.
• Able to travel to customer job sites for in-field machining.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and use measuring tools.
• Forklift and hoist certification is a plus.
• Experience with CAD Design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and CAD files for precise machining.
• Troubleshoot machine operation and programming issues.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Monitor and adjust programs to optimize performance.
• Move materials safely using crane, dollies, and carts.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping compliance.
• Identify and remediate safety hazards.
• Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor
