TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III in Woburn, MA to produce precision parts using CNC mills, lathes and EDMs. You will read drawings, set up machines, and ensure quality per OOQ standards, while maintaining equipment and documentation.

The role requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to train junior machinists. You will follow GMP/GDP and participate in continuous improvement initiatives in a safety-conscious, on-site environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).
• Ability to operate, set up, and maintain a CNC machine.
• Read blueprints and drawings; interpret specifications.
• Commitment to safety and GMP/GDP practices.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDM's, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC work with close tolerances on various parts.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Assist Engineering with fixtures, tooling and offsets.
• Ensure OOQ quality using measurement equipment.
• Set speeds and feeds for machining requirements.
• Perform routine PM and 5S housekeeping.
• Train new machinists and follow GMP/GDP documentation.
• Identify safety issues and support continuous improvement.
• Record activities on job tracking system.
