Job summary

Tecomet in Florida is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, and maintain high quality through precise measurement and process control.

The role requires strong problem solving, safety awareness, and the ability to work within continuous improvement initiatives while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Ensure product quality and maintain safety standards.
