Job summary

TECOMET in Salem, NH seeks a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up and program CNC mills, lathes and Wire EDMs per drawings and quality standards. You will optimize tooling, offsets, and feeds, while supporting engineering with fixture redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong math, multi-machine capability, and a commitment to GMP/GDP and safe work practices, with 5+ years CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ maths and English desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs to close tolerances.
• Propose new setups and adjust offsets/tooling for new production.
• Perform difficult CNC work with precise tolerances and multiple parts.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Improve work instructions and assist with fixture design changes.
• Ensure product quality per OOQ, using measuring equipment.
• Suggest speeds/feeds adjustments and perform routine PM.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and safety practices.
• Record activities in job tracking system and support CI.
