Job summary

TECOMET in Medford, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate and set up CNC mills, Wire EDMs and lathes, producing precision parts per engineering drawings while upholding safety and GMP/GDP standards.

You will read blueprints, monitor tolerances, troubleshoot programs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity within a team-focused, high‑demand manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree or machining apprenticeship preferred / GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Ensure product quality is achieved by using range of measuring equipment and interpreting readings.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
