Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to produce precision parts by operating and setting up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes. The role includes reading engineering drawings, possibly programming, and ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Applicants should have 5+ years of CNC machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and capable of adjusting tooling and offsets. Commitment to GMP/GDP and 5S is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associates degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Read blueprints and evaluate specifications; troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine PMs, and ensure GMP/GDP adherence.
