Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will work with close tolerances, read blueprints, and maintain quality per GMP/GDP standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong math, problem solving, and teamwork, with emphasis on safe, efficient production and accurate documentation of activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes following work instructions and drawings.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and documentation per GMP/GDP.
