Job summary

GE Aerospace Beavercreek site is seeking skilled machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read engineering drawings, and follow MOS instructions to produce quality components. You’ll edit programs, set offsets, and work in a lean, cell-based environment with a focus on safety and precision.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year CNC experience or completed Machining Apprenticeship, plus familiarity with Optical Comparators and measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Machining program certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year CNC machining experience or completion of Machining Apprentice Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and MOS documents.
• Edit CNC programs and adjust offsets to ensure parts meet specs.
• Maintain Lean Manufacturing practices including 6S and set-up reduction.
• Keep work area clean and produce organized documentation.
