Job summary

GE Aerospace Beavercreek site seeks skilled machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a lean, team-oriented cell. You will load offsets, edit programs, and follow MOS and drawings to produce precision parts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a completed machining certification, and at least one year of CNC experience. Reading blueprints and using an Optical Comparator are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Machining program completed.
• At least 1 year CNC machining experience or completed Machining Apprentice Program.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Follow written instructions precisely (MOS, routers, engg drawings).
• Work with materials such as castings, forgings, screw machine blanks, and bar stock.
• Change chuck jaws, tool holders, fixtures, etc., as needed.
• Edit CNC programs and offsets to ensure parts meet specs.
• May write programs and operate multiple machines.
• Aim to acquire CVP operator status within 60 days.
