Job summary

Vitesse Systems is seeking a CNC Programmer for its Newark, CA machine shop. You will program, set up, and operate 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC machines, and perform part inspection in a prototype/job shop environment.

You will use MasterCAM and DNC systems, read blueprints with GD&T, and collaborate with production management to meet schedules and quality goals. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and programming in a prototype/job shop environment.
• Experience with MasterCAM or equivalent software.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Knowledge of tooling selection, fixtures, and setups.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC machines.
• Prepare set-up sheets and document machining processes.
• Plan, estimate, and report on machining projects.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
