Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking an experienced machinist who thrives on precision and problem-solving. You will run multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe and support equipment, while ensuring part quality throughout production.

You must read work orders and blueprints, perform setup and offsets, and participate in maintenance, inspection, and reporting of counts, scrap, and labor hours. Join a team with a 160-year American manufacturing legacy and a focus on ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Five (5) years of related experience, required.
• CNC certification or metalworking/tooling certification preferred.
• Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or furnace machines preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Run CNC milling/grinding/lathe and semi-automated equipment.
• Inspect product for quality using calipers/micrometers/gauges.
• Read work orders and blueprints to verify specs.
• Review BOMs for accuracy and inventory transactions.
• Perform offsets and adjust machine feeds to meet specs."
• Troubleshoot machine issues and replace tooling as needed.
• Set up machines including fixtures, tooling, and loading programs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and check oil/coolant levels.
• Record production counts, scrap, and labor hours.
