The role focuses on programming, setup, and operation of advanced CNC machines, process improvement, and close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in CNC machining, programming and production manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machining centers.
• Experience with DMG Mori, Mazak, or Doosan equipment.
• Proficiency in NX programming, Vericut, and CNC probing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Machinist certification, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan.
• Operate EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders as required.
• Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specs.
• Develop and update CNC programs to improve processes and efficiency.
• Identify tooling/fixturing issues and recommend improvements.
• Support process development, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Review processes and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and management teams.
• Support manufacturing improvements to meet production requirements.
• Explore opportunities to optimize machining operations using current tech.
