Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for night shift in Terre Haute, IN. The role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating multi‑axis CNC machines to manufacture complex aerospace components using DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on CNC programming and production machining, with NX programming, Vericut, and probing systems experience. AS9100 familiarity and independent problem-solving are required.

• Working knowledge of AS9100 standards.
• Machinist certification, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently and support process improvements.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 5 7 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, machining, and production manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience machining complex aerospace components using multi-axis CNC machining centers, including DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan equipment. Proficiency in NX programming, Vericut, probing systems, and AS9100 standards is required. The candidate must be comfortable working the night shift and supporting process improvement initiatives with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture complex aerospace components.
• Operate DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan CNC equipment, along with EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders.
• Interpret engineering drawings, design records, and machining specifications to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Develop and update CNC programs using NX, Vericut, and probing systems.
• Review tooling and fixture setups, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Support process development, validation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze machining cycle times and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management teams to meet project schedules and manufacturing objectives.
• Follow AS9100 quality standards and applicable aerospace manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of CNC programming and production machining experience.
• Hands-on experience machining complex aerospace components.
• Experience with DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan CNC machines.
• Proficiency in multi-axis CNC machining, NX programming, Vericut, and probing systems.
• Experience operating EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 standards.
• Machinist certification, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot machining issues, and support process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with CAD, CREO, or Pro/E.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tooling optimization, fixture validation, and cycle-time reduction.

Pay Scale: $90K-$100K/Annum (Negotiable based on experience)
