Job summary

Tru-Stop, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support our diverse manufacturing operations, producing precision parts for multiple industry segments.

The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of setup experience, can read blueprints and GD&T, understands G/M codes, and is proficient with Fanuc or HAAS controls. This is a full-time role with occasional overtime in a clean, organized facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with CNC machine setup
• Ability to set up CNC lathes and mills with minimal guidance
• Strong machining fundamentals and math skills
• Read and interpret blueprints, MOTs, and GD&T
• Determine proper speeds and feeds for various metals
• Use measuring devices: micrometer, caliper, height gauge
• Fluent in English; strong organizational skills
• Good attendance, punctuality, and ability to lift 50 lb
• Suggest process improvements with initiative
• Knowledge of machine controls Fanuc/HAAS

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multi-axis CNC lathes and/or mills
• Read and interpret G & M codes
• Maintain 5S in the work area and perform PMs
• Produce parts per the production plan
• Identify and resolve quality issues with supervision input
• Adjust machine offsets, speeds, and feeds for quality
• Demonstrate a professional and proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
