Job summary

Millennium Power Service in Westfield, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team. This role focuses on precision components in a fast-paced industrial environment, performing hands-on machining across manual and CNC equipment.

You will set up and operate multi-axis machines, read blueprints and GD&T specifications, and program with Mastercam. Collaborate with engineers to improve processes; competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of machining experience.
Experience with CNC and manual machining.
Experience setting up multi-axis CNC equipment.
Mastercam programming experience preferred.
Experience with Haas and Doosan machines is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual and CNC equipment including Haas, Doosan, Proto Trak, and Bridgeport.
Read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
Program and edit machining operations using Mastercam and Proto Trak controls.
Select tooling and materials for efficient machining operations.
Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
Troubleshoot machining issues and minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform routine machine maintenance.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve processes.
Maintain accurate production and job records.
