You'll partner with engineering to optimize tooling, fixtures, and processes, execute first‑article builds, and reduce cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances. Strong craftsmanship and practical problem‑solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a mill/lathe environment.
• Strong live tooling programming experience.
• Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Experience with multi-axis parts and complex geometries.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, including live tooling and multi-axis operations.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs (G-code and CAM-generated) for complex geometries and tight tolerances.
• Execute first-article builds, prove-outs, and low-volume production runs in an R&D environment.
• Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, materials, and machine dynamics.
• Design, fabricate, and iterate fixtures and workholding to improve setup efficiency and part stability.
