Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Machinist IV to join the Manufacturing team at the Fletcher, NC facility. You will operate and optimize CNC and other machine tools to produce components per Cummins specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role emphasizes hands-on precision, changeovers, and collaboration across functions to sustain production targets. You will engage in preventive maintenance, process improvements, and training to support a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC and machine tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work safely with industrial equipment and PSI controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC/machining work-centers to produce components meeting specs.
• Perform changeovers, setups and basic troubleshooting to keep production running.
• Support TPM initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and efficiency.
