Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Machining Technician to operate CNC machines in a manufacturing environment at the Morristown, TN facility. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to process standards while contributing to continuous improvement and teamwork.

The role emphasizes manufacturing knowledge, accuracy reading blueprints, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma and exposure to PPE are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines (1–3 years).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills (decimals, fractions, tolerances).
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
