Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC and/or manual machining experience; 7+ years preferred for senior-level candidates.
• Strong CNC programming and program-editing skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, machining processes, tooling, and machine safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills, CNC lathes and mills, and waterjet equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Create and edit CNC programs, including G/M Codes and Mazatrol.
• Set up machine fixtures and select appropriate tooling for production and engineering parts.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, depth gauges, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect equipment for wear or damage.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues and assist with continuous improvement.
• Train and support less-experienced machinists and operators as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
