Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is a plus.
• Hands‑on CNC machinist experience with a track record of quality parts.
• Fluency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming concepts and machine operation.
• Comfort using precision metrology and inspection tools to verify dimensions.
• A solutions‑first mindset, sharp attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, blueprints, and drawings to verify specs and tolerances before production.
• Set up CNC machines for production runs, load tooling, set offsets, verify programs, and run first articles.
• Run parts to specification, monitor machine operations for accuracy, surface finish, and cycle time.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment running.
• Collaborate with teammates to refine processes and improve throughput without compromising quality.
• Keep station audit-ready: organized, safe, and compliant with shop standards.
• Record production data, note variances, and report discrepancies to leadership.
