Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Level 3 for our Boyne City, MI facility. You will operate and program CNC mills and lathes, interpreting drawings to ensure high-precision parts and controlling quality throughout production.

You will report to the Production Supervisor in an on-site role, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency. This position emphasizes accuracy, maintenance, and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years setting up, operating and troubleshooting CNC Mills and Lathes in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for accurate production.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify part quality.
• Familiarity with machine maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts per drawings and work instructions.
• Perform setup, adjustments and troubleshooting for optimal performance and quality.
• Inspect finished parts with precision instruments to verify conformance to specs.
• Maintain accurate production records and report deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement.
