Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. in Arvada, CO is seeking a Machinist Level 3 to operate and maintain CNC lathe and mill, fabricating pumps and compressor components with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this on-site role runs a weekend schedule (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm). You will read blueprints, control tolerances, inspect parts, and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of milling experience.
• Strong mechanical ability and machine expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T, complex engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of shop trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Weekend Shift 6:00am-6:30pm Friday - Sunday.
• Uses blueprints and sketches to ensure dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintains safe working area and follows procedures.
• Sets up and operates CNC lathe and CNC mill to precision tolerances.
• Makes or modifies tooling and gauging; repairs hardware as needed.
• Works with materials including stainless and hardened steel.
• Inspects products with micrometers, dial indicators, surface plates, and comparators.
• Maintains production documentation and mentors others when needed.
• Learns new information and applies concepts in the technical area.
• Performs complex technical assignments and provides guidance as an Internal Mentor.
