GE Vernova’s Gas Power business seeks a Senior Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines for turbine components. You will work with close tolerances on large parts, interpreting blueprints and specs while coordinating with QA and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience machining large components to close tolerances using CNC centers.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Flexibility to work A, B, C, or D shifts as needed.
• Commitment to safety and quality procedures.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, horizontal boring mills, vertical turning lathes, and/or horizontal lathes.
• Machine large turbine components and forgings to close tolerances while meeting quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, and CNC programs.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, and production control teams to support daily operations.
• Perform setup, tooling adjustments, offsets, inspections, and dimensional verification.
