Job summary

Narda-MITEQ, located in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to plan, layout, set up, and operate vertical mills to produce high-precision components. Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to achieve tight tolerances and zero defects.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; vocational/technical machining certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant CNC machining experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate degree with 2+ years related experience.
• Experience setting up, light programming and operating CNC vertical mills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program vertical mills (G-code/conversational); edit and adjust programs.
• Read complex engineering drawings and GD&T for manufacturing.
• Select tools, speeds, feeds; design fixtures for challenging jobs.
