Job summary

Narda‑MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is hiring a CNC Operator to run mills and lathes, load materials, monitor performance, and perform quality checks. Work under skilled machinists to sharpen your skills in precision machining.

You should have 0–3 years of CNC experience, be able to read blueprints, understand G-code, and use basic measuring tools. The job includes opportunities for growth, a strong benefits package, and a supportive team environment. Security clearance may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; machining certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with G-code and basic offsets.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, run, and unload production parts on CNC machines according to set parameters.
• Assist with basic machine set-ups, including changing fixtures and tooling under supervision.
• Measure parts using precision tools to ensure exact blueprint specifications.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep work areas clean.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts to senior staff.
