Job summary

Narda-MITEQ is seeking a Machinist B in Hauppauge, NY to set up and operate CNC vertical mills, follow blueprints and process sheets, and produce parts to tight tolerances. You will adjust tools and verify dimensions in a precision manufacturing environment.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience or a 2-year degree with 0–2 years; teamwork, problem-solving, and clear communication are essential. A disability accommodation is available upon request.

Job Description:


Responsible for the setup and operating of vertical mills making tool adjustments for a variety of major automatic machines. Works from blueprints and process sheets to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. May also make recommendations concerning use of and improvement upon materials and design .
