The Narda Microwave Corporation is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to plan, layout, and operate vertical mills to exact tolerances. You will read blueprints and GD&T, select tooling and fixtures, and perform inspections to ensure zero defects.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with machining experience, or a technical certification/associates, plus familiarity with Haas, Mitsubishi, or Milltronics controls. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with machining experience.
• Experience setting up, light programming and operating CNC vertical mills.
• Proficiency with Haas, Mitsubishi, and Milltronics controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program VMCs using G-code or conversational methods.
• Interpret complex drawings and GD&T for precision parts.
• Select tooling, speeds/feeds and fixtures for tough jobs.
• Perform first-article, in-process and final inspections.
• Diagnose dimensional discrepancies and machine issues on the fly.
• Mentor junior operators and machinists on best practices.
