Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct experience in subtractive manufacturing.
• Proficient in CNC programming and operation on milling/turning machines.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Experience with fixture design and basic fixtures fabrication.
• Proficient with CAM and 3D CAD software; MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming, setup, operation, teardown, cleanup, and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to meet fabrication requirements and shop standards.
• Mentor less experienced machinists and contribute to shop efficiency improvements.
• Expand expertise into milling and turning as needed; support prototype development in an R&D environment.
