Apple is seeking a CNC Prototype Machinist to join its Advanced Development Lab in Sunnyvale. You will set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision prototype components, collaborating with engineers to refine toolpaths and ensure quality in a fast-paced development environment.

The role requires meticulous attention to GD&T, tight tolerances, and the ability to troubleshoot machining challenges while maintaining safety and efficiency.

• Minimum Qualifications: Set up, operate, and program CNC 5-Axis machines in a 3D CAD/CAM environment.
• Ability to program complex 3D parts.
• Experience holding tight tolerances with hand metrology tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to manufacture complex precision components.
• Develop and optimize toolpaths using 3D CAD/CAM software to machine complex geometries and free-form surfaces.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to determine machining strategies and setups.
