• 5+ years of CNC machining in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to independently set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC centers with minimal supervision.
• Experience machining one-off, prototype, or low-volume high-value components.
• Experience machining Inconel, titanium, stainless steel, copper, and other exotic alloys.
• Conversational programming using Fanuc and/or Siemens controls.
• Basic CAM experience using Mastercam, ESPRIT, CATIA, or comparable software.
• Experience with AS9100 or equivalent quality management system.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint-reading skills, and tooling/fixturing knowledge.
• Proficient in precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Able to mentor less-experienced machinists and exercise stop-work authority when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Independently set up and operate complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Prove out setups for new or unproven components with Programming and Engineering.
• Machine one-of-one, prototype, and low-volume flight hardware from exotic alloys.
• Perform conversational programming and edit G-code/M-code with Fanuc/Siemens controls.
• Install and qualify fixtures, tools, probes, datums, and related setup components.
• Interpret drawings, models, GD&T requirements, and setup documentation.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process dimensional verification; monitor tool wear and process stability.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues with cross-functional teams.
• Exercise stop-work authority to protect personnel, equipment, and hardware.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced machinists.
