• Three years of machining experience.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC and conventional mills and lathes.
• Perform pre-operational inspections.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals to determine workpiece specs.
• Set up machines, adjust tooling and offsets.
• Operate forklifts and use overhead cranes for loading.
• Run trial operations to verify settings.
• Select and secure fixtures and tools.
• Calculate and set machine controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth.
• Monitor and adjust machine operations as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specs.
• Record time spent on tasks in the shop management system.
• Follow continuous improvement plans.
