Torrey Holistics in Saint Peters, MO seeks an experienced Machining Supervisor to lead a 15–20 person team on first shift. You will hire, train and coach machinists, drive safety, quality and productivity, and partner with engineers on SOPs and procedures.

This hands-on leader will manage budgets and staffing to support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires extensive CNC machining expertise, strong GD&T skills, and the ability to work across Quality, Programming and

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of CNC machining experience.
• 5–10 years of experience leading machining teams.
• Experience overseeing a meaningful CNC machining operation.
• Advanced blueprint-reading capability (GD&T).
• Strong CNC knowledge across equipment, tooling, setups, processes, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead first-shift machining operations and 15–20 employees.
• Hire, train, evaluate, coach, and develop machining personnel.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and staffing metrics.
• Implement improvements in equipment, tooling, processes, and workflow.
• Maintain 6S and support Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Prepare labor forecasts and staffing plans.
• Collaborate on SOPs with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Manage departmental budgets and shared resources.
• Support AS9100 and audit requirements.
