Job summary

SIS, an EIS company in Canton, GA, is seeking an experienced CNC Operations Specialist to perform complex setups, diagnose difficult machining problems, and push the next generation of machinists. This hands-on role combines regular production runs, advanced troubleshooting, and active coaching of operators and setup specialists.

You will set up and operate CNC equipment (Haas/routers as noted), interpret blueprints and GD&T, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality to implement lasting

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible CNC machining experience.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot complex CNC scenarios.
• Capability to interpret blueprints and GD&T and adjust programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex CNC setups and run production jobs.
• Diagnose causes of machining problems involving tooling, workholding, programs, and surface finish.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T, verify part quality, and adjust programs as needed.
• Train and mentor operators and setup specialists.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to implement lasting improvements.
