Biztech Inc in New Jersey is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our production team. This hands-on role focuses on setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components from engineering drawings.

You will read blueprints, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, adjust tooling and offsets, and help mentor junior machinists while upholding safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Proven experience setting up and operating CNC lathe machines.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
• Experience making machine offsets, tooling adjustments, and troubleshooting machining issues.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC lathe to manufacture precision components per drawings.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot production issues, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain quality, minimize scrap, and meet production deadlines.
• Assist with CNC milling operations when needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Potentially mentor junior machinists.
