Job summary

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes, read aerospace blueprints, and meet daily production goals in our Cincinnati facility.

You will mentor peers, perform on-machine edits, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances with precise inspection using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 5 years CNC lathe experience.
• Proficient with setups, tooling, and on-machine edits without step-by-step instruction.
• Strong inspection skills with manual measuring tools.
• Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve machining issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to assist and guide others.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with minimal supervision (Femco, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, manual, VTL).
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor edits directly at the machine.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, make decisions independently, and maintain part quality.
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and part drawings.
• Ensure parts are produced to tight tolerances and customer requirements.
• Support and mentor other team members when needed.
• Meet daily and weekly production targets without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
