Job summary

Resistance Optics seeks a Senior Lathe Operator to lead precision turning operations in our metals manufacturing facility. You will program, set up, and run multi-axis CNC lathes with milling capability to produce high-quality parts for medical, defense, and commercial markets.

You will read blueprints and specifications, optimize tooling with engineering, perform part inspections, and mentor junior operators while upholding ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC lathe programming experience, including multi-axis lathes with milling capability.
• Strong ability to read drawings, blueprints and tolerances.
• Experience mentoring junior operators and leading safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning centers with milling capability.
• Interpret drawings and specs to determine machining requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize tooling and strategies.
