Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Commerce, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Level 3 to join our onsite team. The role covers multiple trades and requires reading blueprints and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on complex CNC machines (3- and 5-axis milling, and various lathes).

You will document maintenance activities in CMMS, adhere to OSHA safety standards (Lockout/Tagout applicable), and support forklift, scissor lift, and JLG operations while working a flexible

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years in manufacturing as an Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial maintenance technician or millwright.
• No security clearance required to start.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of vacuum, electrical, hydraulic, cooling and pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance across multiple trades including millwright, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on CNCs (3- and 5-axis milling; horizontal and vertical lathes).
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS; track work orders and parts usage.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, and JLG equipment.
