Qualifications

• 8+ years of horizontal milling experience, including complex setups.
• Advanced knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Proven ability to independently run jobs from setup through completion.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC/CNC horizontal milling machines for complex parts.
• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs; plan sequences from print to production.
• Read blueprints, apply GD&T, and ensure correct datum structures.
• Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process and final inspections with precision tools.
• Maintain tooling and fixtures; troubleshoot and implement improvements.
• Mentor junior machinists and lead safety, quality, and standard work.
