Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associates in a technical field preferred.
- 12 years of related experience in a specific industry or 15 years in the industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; analyze problems and perform repairs.
- Experience with basic hand tools, specialized tools, and programming software as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. Identify root causes and repair defects.
- Source parts and repair items; evaluate alternatives to improve cost and reliability.
- Setup and operate multiple machining operations; may perform welding tasks.
- Document work in service reports and manage equipment performance data; create manuals.
