Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. seeks a CNC Field Service Technician Specialist to install, troubleshoot, and repair complex CNC equipment in manufacturing environments across local, national, and international sites.

The role requires high technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with customers and ATS teams. Extensive travel and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 12 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 15 years of experience in specific industry.
• Possesses comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools, and programming software as appropriate.
• Extensive travel required. (Local, National, International)

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary; evaluates alternatives for cost/reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards; creates maintenance standards and instructions.
• Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and preventive processes.
• Sets up and operates multiple machining operations; may perform welding tasks.
• Follows safety policies and documents work in service reports and manuals.
